COSTUMES
-
Show T-Shirt: (Provided by us) You're welcome to style your t-shirt by cutting the neck, arms, hem, rolling sleeves or tying the bottom, for example. Please just ensure all print remains visible. Top tip - make alternations in small increments - once it's cut, it's cut!
-
T-Shirt Care instructions: Do not dry clean. Machine wash: warm (max 30C). Do not bleach. Tumble dry: low heat. Iron, steam or dry: low heat (top tip - use baking paper to gently iron over printed areas)
-
Emergency replacements will be at charged £30 and cannot be guaranteed!

-
Costume Accessories: Some classes have been provided a costume accessory (where artistically appropriate!) Each teacher will advise whether they or you will be responsible for these.
-
Plain Black Leggings: Full or 3/4 length, avoiding any obvious logos/print/symbols where possible. Consider a pair which are comfortable, supportive, with good 'squat proof' coverage!

-
Trainers or dance shoes: Whatever you're comfortable and well-practised dancing in. If there's a choice, please opt for dark/muted colours and plainest design.

-
Under garments: We need all the support we can get on Show Day so choose a sports bra you can rely on! Also one which blends well with your t-shirt colour (particularly for light coloured t-shirts or if styling your t-shirt in a way that makes under garments partly visible.
HAIR & MAKE UP
-
Hair: Tied back, off the face, neat and presentable, any style. Headbands, clips etc welcome, please just avoid anything too bold or distracting.

-
Make Up: We don't need to go wild, but you'll need something slightly heavier and more exaggerated than normal to avoid looking 'washed out' on stage. This photo is a good example of roughly what we're aiming for. Click here for a guide tutorial video.

MAKE UP CHECK-LIST:
1. Base foundation - 1 or 2 shades darker than your natural skin tone.
2. Concealer - lighten dark areas/shadows, hide blemishes and redness.
3. Eye shadow - neutral tones (creams/browns) to shape and give depth.
4. Black Liquid/Gel Eye Liner - define and extend the eyes out and up.
5. Black Mascara - top and bottom lashes.
6. Eyebrow pencil - shape and define.
7. Lipstick/stain - Red or pink tones.
8. Blush/bronzer - give colour to cheeks and structure to face.
OPTIONAL but not necessary:
• Contour
• Finishing powder
• Highlight
• White eye liner (inner/waterline)
• False lashes
• Lip liner

PLEASE ARRIVE WITH HAIR & MAKE UP AS 'DONE' AS POSSIBLE: You will have opportunities to 'touch up/add to' during down times in the morning rehearsal, plus later in the day during lunch/tea breaks. However, dressing room time and space is very limited so getting the majority done at home and opting for low maintenance hair styles will really help!

AFTER SHOW 'PARTY'!
All cast members are invited to The Old Frizzle (opposite Wimbledon Theatre) after our final performance! Don't shoot straight off home. I expect we'll be on such a high and it'll be lovely to raise a glass, process the day and bask in the 'buzz' together over some food!
We have the 'back room' reserved for our cast members only (100 -150 capacity) but please do come along with family and friends using the space in the rest of the pub.
FOOD MUST BE PRE-ORDERED BEFORE 9TH MARCH!
THEN WHAT...?!
Right now it's hard to contemplate life as we knew it before show preparation! It's going to be a little odd but I'm sure we'll all enjoy not having to retain the choreography anymore!
No classes the week after the show - I predict the emotional hangover will take it's toll! Perhaps the break is a nice opportunity to do class socials instead...?!
